October 9th, 2012 No comments

Call it a fad. Call it cool. Call it whatever you want but it’s happening and it’s FUN. The gangnam style wedding dance makes the guests laugh with tears flowing down their eyes. All that fun with a picturesque backdrop at The Lodge at Pebble Beach of the bay.

San Francisco City Hall Wedding Cinema – Brenda & Ben

May 1st, 2012 No comments

Weddings in San Francisco City Hall showcase beautiful architecture. Many a weddings have we photographed there. However, when it comes to video / cinema, it’s an extremely noisy location with echos and is difficult to shoot.

With only ONE cinematographer in under 2 hours of prep + ceremony, it’s a miracle how this beautiful cinema was pieced together. Thanks to Paul and congratulations to this absolutely beautiful couple, Brenda & Ben!

Stanford Memorial Church, Palo Alto Golf Club, Four Seasons Wedding | Janet & Mark

June 1st, 2011 3 comments

Mark practices his first dance with his groomsmen in the Four Seasons Hotel of Palo Alto / Silicon Valley while Janet practices her walk up the stairs in the prestigious Stanford Memorial Church in Palo Alto. Their beautiful first dance in the Palo Alto Golf Club is a small part to what makes this wedding so elegant.

The wedding photos in the Four Seasons, Stanford Memorial Church and Palo Alto Golf Club are a real match to Mark & Janet’s style.

We chose a cinematic musical piece with Scottish intonation and blend to showcase Mark and his cool British accent (when they are entering the church). Check out their cinema!

What I found endearing is how Mark holds Janet’s Victoria Secret’s bag proudly as he exits the ceremony with her into their Rolls Royce.

Save the date cinema at Chateau Montelena

What’s more fun than shooting an engagement session and also the cinema,
all in the same day. It’s fun because it’s Napa and Calistoga, amidst the historic Chateau Montelena, Castello di Amorosa and Chimney Rock. Why fun? Why not? Good food, good wine, great friends/clients merging into a smooth collage of a wonderful day.

Family portrait and cinema in Atherton

August 20th, 2010 No comments

18 year old Reilly is leaving Atherton, California for college in Texas. Everyone is excited for him, but at the same time, sad. As fine art photographers and cinematographers, our imagery and video/cinema speaks about the family we photograph. Even more so when each family members have so much love and fun with each other.

We almost felt like close relatives, being there, absorbing the love and resonating and reflecting the TLC back into our photographs and cinema. This was photographed in the backyard of their home during our family portraiture session in Atherton, CA (next to Menlo Park and Palo Alto). Enjoy Texas, Reilly! ;)

(Notice Georgia whispering “I love you” to Reilly when she was leaning on his shoulder? ;) )
